It’s best to choose accommodation on the north side of the Han River, because most of Seoul’s tourist spots are there!
Once, I stayed in the Mapo district and it was a great place – close to the city center and many cool places. Another time, I stayed near Sungshin Women’s University – a little farther, but still easy to get around.
I especially suggest staying in these areas:
-
Mapo
-
Jongno
-
Insadong
-
Myeongdong
-
Hongdae
These neighborhoods are popular, full of life, and close to important places.
🚇 The most important thing: stay near a subway station! It makes traveling in Seoul quick and easy.
🏠 P.S. Airbnb works really well in Seoul, and is often cheaper than booking.com. I used it twice and was happy with it!
